Fresh Interiors, Branding, and Menus Unveiled as Tarrant Restaurants Make Big Reveals
The Fort Worth dining scene is buzzing with excitement as several restaurants in the area undergo significant transformations, promising fresh interiors, branding, and menus for patrons to enjoy.
Winslow’s Wine Cafe, a beloved spot for brunch enthusiasts, recently unveiled its Santa Barbara-inspired redesign after a period of anticipation. The restaurant’s spokesperson, Dionne Carrizales, shared that the revamped look includes a new logo featuring Winslow, the cafe’s namesake dog, along with stylish uniforms for the staff. Winslow’s has also partnered with Farmer Brothers Coffee to enhance its brunch experience with premium coffee blends and introduced new cocktails to its happy hour menu.
Another notable establishment undergoing a revival is Pulido’s Kitchen & Cantina, which was acquired by the Westland Restaurant Group in December 2023. Following the retirement announcement of the previous owners, the original Pulido’s location reopened in June with a fresh interior design that pays homage to its heritage. The Hurst location is set to reopen by the end of October, with the Eastland location following suit in November, according to Westland co-owner Bourke Harvey.
Margie’s Italian Gardens, owned by Bourke Harvey and business partner Gigi Howell, is also part of Westland’s restoration projects. The iconic eatery holds sentimental value for Howell, as her family members had their first jobs there, and she has cherished memories of visiting the restaurant during her youth. The team is working towards a mid-November reopening for Margie’s Italian Gardens, aiming to restore the establishment to its former glory.
In contrast, Fireside Pies, a Dallas-based gourmet pizza chain, recently bid farewell to its Grapevine location, marking the end of an era for the establishment. Despite once being a popular choice among Fort Worth diners, the chain faced challenges with ownership changes and shifting dynamics in the Crockett Row area. The closure paved the way for a new culinary venture, Si Tapas, to take over the former Fireside Pies location, offering a fresh dining experience in the rebranded Artisan Circle district.
With these exciting developments in the Fort Worth dining scene, patrons can look forward to experiencing revamped spaces, innovative menus, and reinvigorated culinary offerings at these iconic establishments. As the city continues to evolve its culinary landscape, diners can expect a mix of tradition and innovation to shape their dining experiences in the vibrant Fort Worth dining scene.
